Branch Claims Representative

Location: Lake Elmo, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid work may be available after initial in-person training, based on job responsibilities and leadership approval.

Salary: $50,000–$81,500 per year, plus potential bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims under close supervision.
• Manage claims through investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, forms, and claim-handling procedures.
• Communicate with agents, insureds, claimants, legal counsel, and third parties.
• Develop estimating and computer-based loss-adjustment skills.
• Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses when required by law and complete the company claims training program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience in property and casualty claims handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, report-writing, organization, multitasking, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues, work with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality, and protect data security.
• Ability to accurately handle geometry, mathematical calculations, financial documents, sums, and unit costs.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive an automobile, and a driving record meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
