SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior

What you will do

• Source and originate SBA loans for eligible small businesses.
• Market a full range of banking services through client outreach and relationship development.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Structure SBA loan proposals, complete initial analyses, and prepare credit packages for typical loans of $350K–$5MM.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, agency guidelines, and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with four years of SBA lending.
• At least five years of SBA, business, or commercial lending experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• PC and internet proficiency with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Business or finance degree.
• SBA loan origination experience.
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems.
