Relationship Manager Sr I _RBC

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with in-market collaboration required. Listed locations include New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Nashville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, and Florida.

Starting base salary: $87,027–$138,965 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Acquire new small business and personal banking relationships while managing an existing client portfolio.
• Drive growth in deposits, lending, fee income, loan origination, and relationship retention.
• Build referral strategies with RBC USWM Financial Advisors and other internal and external partners.
• Provide financial advice, identify client needs, and recommend banking products and solutions.
• Manage complex business banking portfolios, including term loans and revolving credit lines.
• Monitor credit risk, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of direct sales experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of personal and business banking products, especially small business offerings.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, negotiations, credit judgment, lending structures, and regulatory requirements including CIP and KYC.
• Must be in good standing under the SAFE Act and registered or eligible for registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
