Senior MEP Project Manager (Data Center)

Location: Fargo, North Dakota, United States; ability to travel and work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions is required.

Estimated pay: $116,000–$213,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage mechanical and plumbing or electrical components for large, complex data center construction projects.
• Control project safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, costs, cash flow, quality, and closeout activities.
• Lead project teams with the Superintendent and coordinate owners, architects, design teams, trade contractors, and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs, submittals, change orders, project plans, and constructability requirements.
• Manage procurement, trade contractor buyout, contract language, payment applications, lien waivers, and material delivery.
• Lead progress, estimate review, start-up, interim, and closeout meetings while maintaining project records and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field plus 6+ years managing construction projects valued above $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management plus 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software; Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam experience is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of value engineering, life-cycle costing, project profitability, cost processes, and multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.
