IT Project Manager/Business Analyst – ETRM Implementation (Energy)

Location: Houston, hybrid with at least 4 days onsite per week. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens through TN and E-2 treaty-based U.S. work visas; H-1B sponsorship or transfers are not supported.

Salary: USD $120,000–US$1,800,000 annually.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements from trading, risk, operations, and finance stakeholders.
• Act as the liaison between business users, project management, and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead workshops and contribute to solution design and scalable business process improvements.
• Support the implementation and configuration of the Orchestrade ETRM platform.
• Analyze the full energy trading lifecycle, including deal capture, pricing, risk monitoring, P&L, and invoicing.
• Support test preparation, execution, UAT, change management, and user adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in energy trading, commodities trading, or capital markets.
• Strong experience with ETRM platforms; Orchestrade experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with similar platforms such as Calypso or Murex is also considered.
• Strong understanding of power trading markets, especially the U.S. Power Market or European Power Market and forward trading.
• Experience with large-scale trading platform implementations, requirements gathering, and business process analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously and interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
