Technical Senior Project Manager (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Remote near Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, or Newark, with onsite work at target North American locations as needed; up to 50% domestic travel.

What you will do

• Develop, propose, procure, install, and commission equipment and machinery projects valued between $1 million and $30 million.
• Engage safety, production, quality, maintenance, commercial, and finance stakeholders to define project opportunities, facility preparation, and operational requirements.
• Evaluate technologies, suppliers, trades, and lower-cost technical solutions.
• Create project concepts with CAD and other tools, and develop equipment and system requirements, proposals, success metrics, and performance criteria.
• Manage schedules, work breakdown structures, risks, actions, factory acceptance testing, supplier integration, and project progress.
• Supervise onsite installation and commissioning, including line and equipment relocations and facility closures.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering required; mechanical engineering preferred.
• 10 years of experience as a lead engineer and project manager delivering machinery projects of at least $1 million, including at least 5 years as a design engineer.
• Experience with comprehensive requirements, project justification proposals, success metrics, utilities, and industrial facility preparation.
• Experience with HVAC, water, gas, electrical systems, OT networks, process measurement, inline measurement, sample property testing, and vision inspection.
• Experience procuring machinery with custom PLC programming and safety requirements.
• Broad industrial manufacturing experience and familiarity with ANSI B11, electrical codes, civil and structural design requirements, OEE, mechanical and electrical design, and system modeling.
