What you will do

• Provide legal advice on trademark, copyright, patent, publicity rights, brand protection, and enforcement matters across the Americas.
• Support and advance intellectual property enforcement initiatives and manage emerging infringement and counterfeit risks.
• Lead or support intellectual property disputes, enforcement actions, and complex dispute-resolution matters.
• Build relationships with customs authorities, enforcement partners, external counsel, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
• Develop training programs to improve awareness of intellectual property risks and best practices.
• Contribute to regional and global intellectual property strategy while balancing legal risk with practical business needs.

Requirements

• Experience delivering legal advice across trademark, copyright, patent, and publicity rights matters.
• Experience managing intellectual property enforcement and brand protection initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading intellectual property disputes, enforcement actions, or litigation through resolution.
• Juris Doctor, LL.M., or equivalent law degree.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts, or eligible to become registered in-house counsel.
• Strong stakeholder partnership, communication, adaptability, learning agility, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced customs enforcement or anti-counterfeiting program experience.
• Experience developing intellectual property portfolio strategy, licensing, or prosecution approaches.
