Junior Legal Counsel (Technology)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other binding agreements.
• Advise on technology, software licensing, and outsourcing matters.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property, regulatory, compliance, and employment issues.
• Analyze statutes, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Supervise litigation, disputes, and information or subpoena requests handled with outside counsel.
• Assist with corporate governance for a private company with multiple global entities, subsidiaries, and affiliates.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the State Bar and qualification to practice law in the state of New York.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Law firm and in-house experience is preferred but not required.
