Western & Cellular Analysis Sales Specialist (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote, US; field-based territory covering Connecticut and Northwest Massachusetts, with customer visits 75% of the time

Salary: $83,400–$137,100 annually, plus commission eligibility and a long-term stock incentive package

What you will do

• Sell Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments, related systems, and consumables within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute strategic portfolio plans to increase sales and market share.
• Achieve sales targets through consultative, value-based selling and develop new and existing accounts.
• Partner with the broader Commercial Team to present coordinated solutions to customers.
• Forecast instrument and reagent sales and manage leads, customers, opportunities, and KPIs in Salesforce.
• Explain product value propositions, applications, features, benefits, and competitive advantages to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a science-related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in the life science tools sector, including 2+ years in a related market.
• Experience selling high-value capital equipment.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical and biologics research, development, and production workflows.
• Knowledge of scientific techniques including Western blot, flow cytometry, ELISA, sequencing, and related research applications.
• Strong negotiation, closing, presentation, communication, territory management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
