IT Specialist (Internal Only)

Location: Pineville, Louisiana, United States; on-site at the Pineville plant

What you will do

• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems at the plant.
• Answer user questions about computer software and hardware and resolve technical issues.
• Set up employee equipment, including cables, operating systems, and required software.
• Install and perform minor repairs on hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Maintain records of data communication issues, corrective actions, and installation activities.
• Investigate problems through technical documentation, user consultations, and computer diagnostics, escalating major issues to vendors or technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of related experience required.
• General technical knowledge of computer operating systems, software, and hardware required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field preferred.
