Associate IT Specialist

What you will do

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software.
• Respond to service requests and incidents while meeting designated service-level agreements.
• Prepare and deploy newly provisioned computers.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, drivers, applications, and desktop hardware.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of laptops, desktops, accessories, and other IT assets.
• Stay current with IT trends and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is also accepted.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical support, desktop support, or help desk work.
• Familiarity with desktop hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting employees in an office environment.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management methodologies.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, or similar certification.
• Strong eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
