What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for the campus, associated campuses, and remote locations.
• Inspect classroom equipment, process repair tickets, deploy software packages, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, printers, networks, servers, and telecommunications.
• Support student help desk operations and assist with student and temporary worker supervision.
• Maintain classroom and laboratory equipment, security standards, software, and academic delivery requirements.
• Provide approximately 10 hours per week of intermediate technical support for the SimCare Center, including equipment setup, service calls, software updates, and daily operations.
• Support simulation training, webinars, conferences, AV systems, Learning Space environments, manikins, computers, monitors, cameras, printers, and conference equipment.

Requirements

• Two years of desktop support or help desk experience.
• Two years of Microsoft Active Directory experience in a large network environment.
• Entry-level experience with networking, data, and voice systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, hardware and software installation, network environments, printer troubleshooting, and advanced PC troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of Laerdal, Gaumard, and Learning Space training to obtain Chamberlain University SimCare Technical Support Certification.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in a technical field.
• Experience with classroom equipment.
• MCP and A+ certifications.
