Biologics Sales Specialist (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote in the United States, with the ideal candidate located in or near San Diego, California; field-based role with approximately 75% of time spent engaging customers in the territory.

Salary: $91,700–$150,800 per year, plus commission eligibility and a long-term stock incentive package.

What you will do

• Sell bioprocessing instrument platforms including iCE, Maurice, and MFI, along with related systems and consumables.
• Achieve sales targets through consultative, value-based selling and strategic territory planning.
• Manage existing accounts and prospect for new opportunities in the biopharma and pharmaceutical sectors.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to scientists and key decision-makers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide a unified customer experience.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines and forecasts in Salesforce and represent solutions at trade shows, vendor shows, and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a scientific discipline or related field.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience in the life science tools research market.
• Previous experience selling high-value capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, scientific applications, and instrumentation used in life science research and biopharmaceutical development.
• Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
• Demonstrated value-based selling, negotiation, presentation, communication, time management, and territory management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with capillary electrophoresis and micro-flow imaging.
• Experience working with biotech, biopharma, pharmaceutical, or academic research customers.
