Lead Sourcing Specialist (IT)

Location: Sumida-ku, Japan; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Manage sourcing processes for assigned IT categories, including RFx activities and negotiation of business and pricing terms.
• Develop category strategies, sourcing objectives, supplier selection criteria, and procurement plans with business partners, contract managers, and Legal.
• Prepare requirements and contract-related documents such as Statements of Work, Letters of Authorization, and Requests for Proposals.
• Perform cost-benefit and financial analysis and drive quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, purchase order execution, performance, issues, and schedule changes.
• Ensure sourcing activities follow hirify.global policies, budgets, procurement ethics, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience in an IT category, or experience as an IT infrastructure-related manager.
• Experience with category management, benchmarking, total cost of ownership models, and RFx processes.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English required for written and verbal communication.
• Analytical thinking, technical understanding, problem-solving ability, and strong relationship management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, influence others, prioritize work, and remain customer-focused.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Contracts, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• TOEIC score of 800+.
