Air Export Agent (Customer Service)

Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan

Salary: JPY 220,000–420,000 per month, plus five annual bonus payments.

What you will do

• Manage smooth and timely air export freight and information flows.
• Enter operational data accurately and track and trace air export files.
• Communicate arrival notices and shipment updates to overseas offices and customers.
• Coordinate international shipments and provide customer support by email and telephone.
• Process client and service provider billing and maintain customer operating procedures.
• Maintain compliance, supplier relationships, operational efficiency, and KPI performance.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, listening, and organizational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English and business-level Japanese required for customer communication and correspondence.
• Understanding of air documentation processes is advantageous.
• IATA certification is preferred.
