Plant Logistics Representative

Location: Shimonoseki-Shi, Japan; onsite role

What you will do

• Monitor and control order processing for shipments from the plant and warehouses through customer delivery.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules for customer orders and material deliveries.
• Monitor plant inventory and recommend product or grade substitutions when needed.
• Maintain product availability and shipping data in the JDE ERP system and prepare shipping documentation.
• Coordinate import, local holding, and export documentation for products from regional and external facilities.
• Respond to customer shipping questions and complaints while supporting safe working practices and Responsible Care requirements.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Fluent Japanese skills at JLPT N1 level or equivalent required.
• Understanding of warehousing, packing, shipping practices, and inventory management.
• Strong communication, coordination, teamwork, planning, and organizational skills.
• Computer and office software proficiency; basic ERP knowledge preferred.
