Materials Team Manager

Location: Kumamoto, Japan; onsite at the customer site

What you will do

• Manage the in-fab materials team and maintain accurate inventory with full traceability of materials moving in and out of the customer site.
• Optimize cleanroom storage space, organize materials, and oversee material handling.
• Own onsite inventory and act as the first escalation point for material availability issues.
• Coordinate material movement planning with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop team training programs and implement improvements with the central program team.
• Plan manpower capacity and monitor performance on a daily and long-term basis.

Requirements

• Experience managing an in-fab or onsite materials operation.
• Ability to maintain inventory accuracy, material traceability, and cleanroom organization.
• Strong coordination skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to customer housekeeping requirements and safety procedures.
• Safety-first mindset, including proactive communication of concerns and compliance with PPE requirements.
