Manager, Warehouse

What you will do

• Own daily warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, staging, shipping, returns, and material flow.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, dock activity, exceptions, carrier requirements, and service cutoffs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through location control, system transactions, cycle counts, reconciliation, and corrective actions.
• Lead supervisors, leads, and hourly employees, including staffing, scheduling, training, attendance, payroll approvals, coaching, and performance management.
• Own warehouse safety, OSHA compliance, PPE requirements, inspections, incident reporting, and SOP adherence.
• Monitor KPIs, labor costs, service performance, and operational risks while leading root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive warehouse, supply chain, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment experience.
• 3+ years of direct warehouse management experience covering people, inventory, shipping and receiving, safety, and operating performance.
• Experience leading medium-to-large hourly teams and developing supervisors or leads.
• Strong knowledge of WMS functionality, inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse transactions, and operational reporting.
• Experience managing KPIs, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, attendance, timekeeping, payroll approvals, and employee accountability.
• Fluency in Japanese and English, including speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with WMS implementations, upgrades, process redesign, warehouse start-ups, or expansion.
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, standard work, or structured problem-solving.
• Experience in multi-shift, high-volume, multi-SKU, regulated, or customer-critical warehouse environments.
