Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager (Industrial)

Salary: $77,000–$110,000 per year; compensation may vary in other cities and states.

What you will do

• Coordinate and distribute the information and authorizations required to deliver industrial construction projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation, safety standards, budgets, schedules, quality control, and logistics.
• Develop pre-construction request-for-proposal packages and support project meetings, milestones, and monthly owner reports.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontract change orders.
• Assist with project closeout and collaborate with the superintendent and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• Two to five years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous experience on commercial job sites is strongly preferred.
• Ability to learn project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, and JD Edwards.
• Strong professional communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
