Construction Manager (Construction Management)

Location: United States — Cincinnati, Ohio or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Salary: $112,630–$160,900 per year, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Coordinate subcontractors, construction schedules, quality control, inspections, and site safety activities.
• Prepare and maintain project and construction management plans, procedures, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Administer construction contracts, including document management, change orders, pay applications, submittals, purchase orders, and subcontract packages.
• Perform estimating, bidding, constructability, value engineering, procurement, and schedule reviews.
• Monitor design progress against construction requirements and control project budget, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Coordinate project setup, temporary facilities, local bidding efforts, and collaboration with owners, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, construction science, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, scheduling, cost and quality management, change management, site safety, estimating, bidding, and subcontract administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, or Bluebeam.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with owners, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned company culture.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Experience with estimating, scheduling, project management, and web-based collaboration software.
