Production Supervisor - Arils 2nd Shift (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Buttonwillow, California, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year, plus up to 5% bonus potential.

What you will do

• Lead, train, and provide performance feedback to production workers while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Plan and oversee daily arils production activities, targets, deadlines, and production centerlines.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Sanitation teams to support uninterrupted operations.
• Enforce SOPs, GMPs, food safety programs, and product quality standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality, initiate maintenance or repairs, and identify process improvements and cost savings.
• Manage inventory, workforce planning, FMDS meetings, production records, KPIs, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of progressively responsible production experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, production processes, quality control, costs, and manufacturing optimization.
• Leadership, mentoring, interpersonal communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented production environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle skills, with the ability to analyze and communicate results.
• Ability to comply with health and safety regulations, GMPs, and food safety programs.
