Production Supervisor - Fresh 2nd Shift (Food Production)

Location: Del Rey, California, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $72,000–$85,000 per year, with bonus potential of up to 5%.

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate daily Fresh production activities in line with schedules and direction from the Production Manager.
• Partner with leads to manage labor placement, line readiness, production flow, staffing priorities, and schedule completion.
• Monitor packaging and grading operations to maintain product quality, food safety, standard work, and customer requirements.
• Track production rates, downtime, material usage, waste, throughput, labor efficiency, and OEE against daily targets.
• Coach leads and production employees on safety, quality, productivity, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Planning to resolve issues and maintain production flow.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of progressively responsible production experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production, fresh produce, or packaging.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience with the ability to direct teams, coach employees, and manage daily production execution.
• Working knowledge of production scheduling, labor utilization, line efficiency, quality standards, waste reduction, OEE, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle or similar production, ERP, reporting, or HRIS systems.
• Ability to manage employee records, attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping through HRIS platforms such as UKG or similar systems.

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, based on business needs.
• Experience with AI-powered tools and analytics for production forecasting, workflow optimization, quality control, and operational efficiency.
