Aftermarket Sales Specialist (Packaging Automation)

Location: Deer Park, NY, USA; onsite

Hourly base rate: $24–$27

What you will do

• Manage customer inquiries about spare parts, replacement parts, kits, upgrades, pricing, availability, and order status.
• Research replacement part numbers using machinery drawings, bills of materials, engineering documentation, and ERP data.
• Prepare quotations, order acknowledgements, confirmations, and customer records in Syteline and Salesforce.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Engineering, Quality, logistics providers, and carriers to resolve issues and meet delivery commitments.
• Expedite urgent machine-down orders, same-day shipments, overnight deliveries, and other time-sensitive customer requests.
• Process shipment transactions, labels, freight arrangements, shipping documentation, and return material authorization activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, spare parts sales, inside sales, order management, customer support, or aftermarket operations.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, follow-up, and prioritization skills in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global uses E-Verify for new hires.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, custom machinery, or aftermarket operations.
• Experience with Syteline and Salesforce.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
