Field Engineer - Installation Team Lead (HVAC)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; extensive travel to jobsites required

What you will do

• Lead and develop a crew of two to three installers across commercial HVAC, ductwork, low-voltage controls, and third-party equipment installations.
• Plan installations through site visits, drawing-set reviews, mobilization planning, and trade coordination with general contractors.
• Own jobsite decisions, schedules, quality, daily check-ins, and punch-list resolution.
• Enforce installation standards, structural-engineering reviews, lifting procedures, and safe, organized jobsite practices.
• Manage startup, commissioning, and reporting for completed installations.
• Provide field-engineering and technical support to customers and coordinate with key-account managers and project teams.

Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in field engineering, construction management, or superintendent work on commercial HVAC or mechanical projects preferred.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills and judgment to run a jobsite.
• Willingness and ability to travel on demand; travel expenses are fully covered.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
