What you will do

• Coordinate commercial refrigeration installation and remodel projects, including schedules, work sequences, assignments, materials, and labor estimates.
• Supervise Installers and Helpers, delegate tasks, motivate personnel, and perform Installation Technician duties when needed.
• Communicate with customers, building owners, contractors, subcontractors, other trades, and field support staff.
• Track project hours and material costs, review forecasted completion costs, and support scope, budget, performance, and close-out discussions.
• Read plans, blueprints, specifications, control drawings, technical manuals, and regulations for cabling, communication loops, energy management, and refrigerant leak systems.
• Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment; provide safety training; and correct unsafe conditions or procedural violations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or ten years of related experience and training; a technical degree is preferred.
• At least five years of commercial HVAC/R experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, time-management, leadership, decision-making, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and out of town as required, while managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• EPA 608 Certification.
