Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and supervise assemblers, technicians, and machine operators.
• Oversee electronic assembly workflows, staffing, resource allocation, takt times, and throughput.
• Resolve bottlenecks, equipment issues, and process problems in collaboration with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, and Kaizen to improve yield, quality, and production output.
• Manage materials and inventory allocation while ensuring proper equipment use and material handling.
• Conduct performance evaluations, support employee development, and enforce safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and Lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of SPC methods and reporting, test processes, and automated inventory systems.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in spoken English to complete job requirements. Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge is required.

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Operations, Business Management, or a related field.
