On the Job Trainer (Weekend Day)

Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, United States; on-site. Weekend day shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Salary: $21.83–$25 per hour.

What you will do

• Train manufacturing employees on procedures, policies, systems, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Create and maintain Work Instructions and other training materials with technical leads and managers.
• Deliver hands-on and classroom-style instruction and help employees locate relevant work instructions.
• Maintain training plans and records and work with technical leads to certify skill attainment.
• Coordinate training coverage for off-shift employees, including occasional schedule adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient manufacturing work area while improving processes and individual performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of training or teaching experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodology.
• Ability to teach and influence employees in group and one-to-one settings and communicate technical work instructions to a culturally diverse workforce.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking skills are required. Basic arithmetic, computer, and calculator skills are also required.
