Warehouse Trainer (Nights)

Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States; onsite warehouse and cleanroom manufacturing environment

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Welcome new employees and temporary workers and introduce them to their roles, colleagues, warehouse areas, production, quality teams, and suppliers.
• Manage training checklists, coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor, and assign Training Buddies.
• Demonstrate warehouse tasks and explain the safe inspection and operation of warehouse equipment.
• Train employees on warehouse documentation, lot control, work orders, material verification, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Assess employees after induction, provide feedback and additional training, and monitor progress over time.
• Mentor employees and share training best practices and challenges with warehouse leadership, other Tutors, and Human Resources.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an effective warehouse operator.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completed training provided by the Quality and EHS departments.
• Knowledge of warehouse quality procedures, documentation, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for approximately 90% of each shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb; must be eligible to work in the United States.
