Operations Supervisor (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate production support needs and output activities with managers and supervisors across departments.
• Prioritize workloads and adjust staffing and overtime to meet changing conditions and customer order deadlines.
• Study production schedules, plan shop-floor layouts, and ensure materials are available to builder crews.
• Train employees and support process improvements recommended through the quality management system.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, report machine and equipment malfunctions, and help employees achieve work goals.
• Interpret company policies, implement safety regulations, assist with performance evaluations, and perform supervised employee activities as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Ideally 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to work onsite in Oregon, Wisconsin, United States.
