Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Crossville, Tennessee, USA; onsite operations in a window manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Supervise all phases of the window manufacturing process and coordinate production, materials, maintenance, EHS, engineering, sales, and HR functions.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production personnel while improving employee engagement and team performance.
• Set production and quality objectives, monitor plant performance, and coordinate facilities, equipment, materials, and workforce utilization.
• Develop and approve budgets, operational objectives, and short- and long-range business strategies.
• Improve quality, lead times, and operating costs using Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management methods.
• Maintain safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and positive customer relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in production or operations management in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with manufactured windows or supply and distribution is preferred.
• Prior P&L and commercial responsibility is required.
• Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, communication, mathematical, and Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and pre-employment physical is required.
