Instrumentation Technician

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: $54,300–$85,700 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Select instrumentation for different applications and troubleshoot and repair instrumentation systems.
• Perform calibrations, maintain calibration records, and use software systems for calibration activities.
• Manage the instrumentation asset management system.
• Complete minor electrical installations and repairs, including control panel wiring and layout.
• Create and manage work orders in a CMMS and help document preventive maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Follow Mercury Marine safety and regulatory standards while providing customer-focused service.

Requirements

• Two-year technical school education in a technical or electrical field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits and wiring.
• Ability to read technical literature, follow oral instructions, and communicate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Familiarity with entering accurate repair records into a CMMS.
• Ability to work onsite in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience with instrumentation application and calibration.
• State electrical license.
