Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician (Medtech)

Location: On-site in New Brighton, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $35–$40 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Perform and coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance, including equipment setup and part replacements.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and equipment history documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to reduce downtime.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify equipment issues and recommend improvements.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out and the use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, and/or 2–5 years of maintenance or calibration experience in a medical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 17025 calibration standards.
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintain documentation in accordance with GDP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs., use a ladder, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience creating, updating, and maintaining technical processes and procedures.
• Experience supporting and executing IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
