Field Service Calibration Technician (57692)

Location: Field service work in the West Chester, Pennsylvania area; travel to customer sites is required. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Perform calibration and maintenance activities independently and as part of a technician team.
• Travel to customer sites to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment.
• Assess environmental conditions and calibration standards for suitability.
• Identify, document, and catalog instrumentation according to organizational practices.
• Use local CMMS systems and follow OSHA guidelines required at each jobsite.
• Maintain effective customer relationships while working independently or collaboratively.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with mechanical measuring, inspection, testing instrumentation, or equipment calibration.
• Ability to work 40 or more hours per week; overtime is required to meet customer demands.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Experience using multimeters, gage blocks, micrometers, calipers, pressure gages, torque wrenches, oscilloscopes, digital balances, test weights, force gauges, or test indicators.
