Clinic RN Sr.- Plano East (Oncology)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; onsite at the Plano East clinic. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate continuity of care according to professional and specialty standards.
• Assess patients’ health status, medical history, and psychosocial needs.
• Provide patient and family education, instructional materials, and psychosocial support.
• Manage medication refill requests, triage patient calls, and document information in patient charts.
• Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, referrals, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while supporting LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• At least five years of nursing experience for the Senior level, including at least one year in oncology preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred.
• Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
