Clinical Research Coordinator (Oncology)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; full-time work in the Arlington office

What you will do

• Screen potential patients for clinical trial eligibility and coordinate enrollment.
• Present trial concepts, participate in informed consent, and provide patient education.
• Coordinate protocol-compliant patient care, clinical assessments, investigational drug dispensing, and drug accountability.
• Review and document changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medications, treatment response, and protocol compliance.
• Support recruitment, retention, monitoring visits, audits, regulatory documentation, and protocol-specific billing.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, study teams, monitors, and auditors to maintain trial quality.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a clinical or scientific discipline, preferably oncology.
• Knowledge of clinical research protocols, Good Clinical Practice, applicable regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to perform accurate documentation and data entry.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, multitasking, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology clinic environment, including extensive standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

• SOCRA or ACRP certification.
