Commercial Construction Superintendent (GovCloud)

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; onsite construction work required

Salary: $99,000–$150,700 per year, with performance-based bonuses and a benefits package.

What you will do

• Direct on-site project workflows and communicate priorities to site staff and subcontractors.
• Lead jobsite safety, administer the safety program, and coordinate accident reporting, investigations, and inspections.
• Maintain construction quality standards, daily logs, site-condition records, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
• Work with the project manager to develop and maintain schedules, installation sequences, and schedule commitments.
• Coordinate subcontractors, work orders, tickets, site resources, temporary facilities, utilities, and long-lead items.
• Collaborate with project management and site operations teams while resolving issues and supporting owner and architect acceptance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including work with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience as a superintendent or project lead is preferred.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
• Project lead experience and OSHA 30 certification.
