Fabrication Operator Lead (Metal Fabrication)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $23.90–$44.40 per hour, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day business unit activities and support safety, quality, delivery, and production goals.
• Coordinate the accurate movement of products into, within, and out of the assigned work area.
• Coordinate employee training and cross-training while ensuring policies, procedures, and quality requirements are followed.
• Fill in on the production line when needed to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement through employee involvement in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Coach employees, recognize strong performance, and help resolve production problems.

Requirements

• Required experience in metal fabrication, including grinding and welding.
• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience conducting training in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate job expectations, monitor performance, coach operators, and enforce procedures.
• Ability to motivate a team to meet safety, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
