Fabricator (Manufacturing)

Location: Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, United States; onsite, full-time, 1st shift

Salary: $22.98–$34.47 per hour

What you will do

• Operate press brakes and other manual fabrication equipment to manufacture parts from production drawings and work orders.
• Bend, seat, flange, and top-flange materials while meeting safety, quality, efficiency, and lean production goals.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other equipment.
• Communicate production issues and improvement opportunities to department leadership.
• Package, label, palletize, gather, and stage finished products while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read production drawings and work orders.
• Willingness to learn and operate shears, welders, punch presses, paint equipment, and CNC machinery.
• Ability to stand and operate large equipment for approximately 8–12 hours, with repetitive twisting and bending.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, using proper equipment for heavier loads.
