Fabrication Tech / Laser Operator

Location: Brandon, South Dakota, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $22–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC and laser machines to meet production demands.
• Clean, touch up, measure, and rework steel-fabricated parts.
• Perform in-process inspections, routine quality checks, and production assessments.
• Complete paperwork, log sheets, forms, charts, and quality documentation.
• Read written instructions and communicate with coworkers and the operations team.
• Follow safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and the ability to read and interpret written instructions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and follow a daily schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and lift between 50 and 100 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and use required personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify and have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Metal Fabrication or CNC Machining.
• Three years of experience in CNC or laser-related work.
