Construction Scheduler (Data Center)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; travel to project work sites 70+ miles away is required.

Estimated pay: $104,000–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and update master CPM, look-ahead, design, procurement, pull-planning, and baseline project schedules.
• Facilitate collaborative planning with project teams, subcontractors, designers, owners’ representatives, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Integrate project schedules with 4D Building Information Modeling and coordinate with the Virtual Design Construction department.
• Analyze acceleration options, schedule risks, delays, claims, notices, conflicts, and roadblocks, recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Develop regional scheduling standards, reporting tools, metrics, databases, and schedule-management protocols.
• Coach and mentor project teams and support training initiatives for scheduling staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of construction scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Field and office experience delivering project schedules and applying CPM scheduling theory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Asta Powerproject, spreadsheets, project management software, and project control tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications.
• Ability to travel to project work sites 70+ miles away.
• Strong written, oral, listening, collaboration, relationship-building, integrity, and ethical skills.

• Estimating experience, including take-offs.
• Experience scheduling large-scale data center projects.
