TL;DR
Production Supervisor (EV & Energy Storage): Overseeing high-volume lithium-ion battery manufacturing, including production planning, personnel supervision, quality control, safety, material flow, and equipment performance with an accent on automated manufacturing, KPI management, and continuous improvement. Focus on investigating safety and quality issues, leading root-cause analysis and Kaizen activities, coordinating engineering support, and managing machine downtime and production recovery.
Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do
- Supervise employees and coordinate daily manufacturing activities, production schedules, staffing, and work priorities.
- Monitor safety, financial, production, quality, and manpower KPIs, preparing shift, root-cause analysis, and headcount reports.
- Investigate safety incidents, defect trends, material losses, and mechanical failures, assigning corrective actions to support teams.
- Monitor machine downtime, escalations, recoveries, and line performance while coordinating activities across production, engineering, quality, and other departments.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5-WHY, 8-D, fishbone, and 4M analysis.
- Manage shipping, receiving, inventory control, FIFO material consumption, SOP updates, and production-related logistics processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- High-volume manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-speed, automated environment.
- Two to five years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working-level English proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Nice to have
- Technical school degree.
- Experience with electric component, chemical, medical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean and 5S systems.
- Knowledge of SAP, MES, or Oracle systems.
