Production Supervisor, Anode - A Shift (Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise employees and manage daily production activities for the electrode, anode press, and anode slitting areas.
• Set production schedules and priorities while coordinating work with other supervisors and cross-functional departments.
• Monitor safety, financial, production, quality, and manpower KPIs, including machine downtime, defects, material loss, and expenses.
• Investigate safety incidents and production issues, perform 5-Why, 8D, fishbone, and 4M analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities, revise SOPs, and support Battery Engineering, Production Engineering, and Quality Control projects.
• Manage inventory, FIFO consumption, shipping and receiving, asset care scheduling, employee performance feedback, and semi-annual reviews.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two to five years of supervisory experience in a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing; electric component, chemical, medical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean and 5S systems, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with people.
• Working-level English proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
