Site Quality Manager (Solar PV)

Location: Newbern, Alabama, United States; full-time on-site work required. Frequent travel to remote project locations for extended periods is required.

Salary: $105,795–$132,244 per year

What you will do

• Implement and manage the Site-Specific Quality Plan and enforce Quality Management System standards.
• Develop Inspection Test Plan processes and conduct inspections across civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Perform internal, process, and documentation audits and verify corrective actions.
• Manage nonconformances, lead root cause analyses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports, test results, and quality metrics.
• Review subcontractor quality plans, verify materials and equipment, and facilitate lessons-learned reviews.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in utility-scale solar quality management.
• In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or Primavera P6 and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work full time on site in Newbern, Alabama and travel frequently to remote project locations.

• ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma certification.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
