Machine Operator / Associate I, Production Operations

What you will do

• Review production schedules, job materials, tickets, and finishing specifications.
• Set up and operate finishing machines such as folders, Muller machines, die cutters, guillotine cutters, and saddle stitchers.
• Load materials, select machine configurations, and make adjustments or minor repairs as needed.
• Evaluate production samples and adjust operations to meet client specifications and quality checklists.
• Package finished products in cartons, boxes, or pallets and verify packaging before shipment.
• Record material usage, scrap, production time, and cost-tracking data in the Monarch database.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Substantial understanding of the job and ability to complete a wide range of routine to moderately difficult tasks.
• Ability to work with limited daily instruction and make decisions when resolving production issues.

Nice to have

• Four years of fast-production machine experience.
