Post Press Operator-2nd Shift (Printing)

Location: Townsend, MA, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Compensation: $21.00–$22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual performance incentive plan and a $2,000 retention bonus.

What you will do

• Set up and operate basic bindery and post-press equipment.
• Gather materials, maintain equipment and stock supplies, check shipments, stamp and proofread orders, and generate labels.
• Follow order instructions and meet requirements for accuracy, ink coverage, quantity, labeling, and product quality.
• Inspect products for errors and verify them against order specifications and manifests.
• Perform labeling, sorting, special-order engraving, truck loading, and binding-margin checks in accordance with postal and delivery requirements.
• Use basic computer systems and powered hand trucks while following production policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, printing operations, or powered hand trucks preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills and knowledge of Lean principles preferred.
