Renewable Asset Manager I/II (Renewable Energy)

Location: Merrillville, Indiana, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $62,000–$123,200 per year. Renewable Asset Manager I: $62,000–$86,800; Renewable Asset Manager II: $82,200–$123,200.

What you will do

• Manage renewable generation assets, warranty agreements, warranty claims, and related compliance activities.
• Review and interpret renewable energy contracts and support contract governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Track purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, budgets, accruals, and commercial milestones.
• Collaborate with wind and solar facility staff, OEMs, service providers, EPRI, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, development and construction discussions, reporting, and asset management activities.
• Maintain compliance documentation, governance records, document repositories, processes, procedures, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Renewable Asset Manager I: less than one year of experience; entry-level. Renewable Asset Manager II: 2+ years of renewable energy experience or 5+ years of electric generation experience.
• Experience with financial budgets, accrual processes, contract interpretation, governance, administration, compliance, and contract lifecycle management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting renewable energy projects, generation operations, contract administration, or asset management.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, OEMs, or service providers.
• Experience with compliance tracking, warranty claims, purchase orders, invoices, or commercial contract milestones.
