MEP Superintendent - Mechanical

Location: On-site near Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; travel to project sites and long-term out-of-town assignments may be required.

Estimated pay: $89,600–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage on-site construction activities for an initially assigned large data center project.
• Direct field operations, site safety, productivity, project schedules, quality, and reporting.
• Coordinate trade contractors, suppliers, tools, equipment, materials, inspections, and project documentation.
• Work with the Project Manager, owner, design team, and internal departments throughout pre-construction and delivery.
• Develop site-specific safety and quality control plans, lead safety meetings, and correct jobsite hazards.
• Support constructability reviews, estimating, procurement, punch-list and close-out processes, and future project pursuits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with construction management and project software, including Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of building plans and specifications, value engineering, life-cycle costing, safety initiatives, and compliance.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel to project sites, accept long-term out-of-town assignments, work in extreme climate conditions, and perform physically demanding site work, including occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, integrity, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
