Fabrication Technician (Day Shift)

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota, USA; onsite day-shift role

Base hourly pay: $20.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate saws, drill presses, lasers, and waterjet equipment.
• Fabricate sheet metal, including calculating bend allowances for cut sizes and hole locations.
• Operate press brakes with minimal supervision and perform welding and machining.
• Assemble parts and carry out machine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and produce parts meeting BEC standards within required timeframes.
• Select appropriate tooling and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience with saw operation, deburring, drilling, tapping, and drill press operation.
• Working knowledge of laser or waterjet equipment, press brakes, welding, machining, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to obtain forklift and crane certifications.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
