Fabricator I – Brake Press and Saw Operator (1:00pm to 9:30pm)

What you will do

• Set up and operate one or two fabrication machines, including press brakes, punch presses, and saws.
• Select, install, and align dies, punches, tools, work holders, and safety devices for required operations.
• Form metal parts according to drawings, blueprints, bills of material, and other specifications.
• Adjust machine stroke, feed equipment, knockout devices, and tooling as needed.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections and complete production and quality documentation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, monitor equipment condition, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret basic to moderately complex drawings and bills of material.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication machinery such as press brakes and punch presses.
• Experience using small hand and power tools and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Up to one year of metal fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
