Sourcing Agent (Hybrid)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office if required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire may be required, with up to 25% travel.

Salary: $94,390.00–$104,880.00 annually, with potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and implement sourcing and contracting strategies for medium-value and moderately complex requirements.
• Conduct RFPs, negotiate terms, execute contracts, and support internal business partners with procurement activities.
• Analyze market, spend, supplier, and contract data to identify sourcing opportunities and support portfolio decisions.
• Develop supply sources, procurement schedules, supplier pre-qualification activities, and contract performance processes.
• Produce SRM scorecards and monitor supplier KPIs to improve performance and future sourcing strategies.
• Maintain procurement records, coordinate updates with suppliers and end users, and provide guidance on contract and commodity processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Three to five years of related experience in operational procurement and strategic sourcing for products and services.
• Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supply market trends, supplier economics, purchasing systems, and inventory systems.
• Experience analyzing contracts, terms and conditions, contractual risks, and business or financial implications.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, influencing, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Eversource does not provide immigration-related visa sponsorship for this position.
